Summer Reading 2020

I hope you and your family are safe and well during the COVID-19 threat.  These are challenging times for everyone.  With the summer reading program, Imagine Your Story, starting soon I am working on the best way I can handle the uncertainty of our summer programs.  It seems like the threat may lessen and hopefully restrictions will be decreased, however, our program may still have some restrictions. For now, parents will be allowed to come to the library without children to get books and turn in reading logs for each participating child for each week of the program. The program will run from June 1st – July 6th.   If parents are uncomfortable or unable to coming to the Library, they can email me their child’s reading log at maxlib@rtc.coop.  This year we will concentrate on reading during our social distancing times. I will be sending home reading logs and activities for children to work on at home and return for small prizes.

Grand prizes will be given out at the end of the program. To qualify for the grand prizes, each student will receive a form that will be stamped each time they participate.  Once they get four stamps, they will be qualified for the awesome grand prizes.

A sign up sheet is available on the link below.

The lending period for each pass is 7 days, with a limit of 1 pass per household.
