Summer Reading 2023

We are getting excited for another fantastic Summer Reading Program at the Max Community Library! Amy Hauf is our director this year and has a great program ready for us! The theme for this year is “All Together Now” for Pre-K – 12th grades. Readers of all ages will explore ways of working “All Together” this summer at our Summer Reading Program.

The schedule will run as follows:  Thursdays in June at 10:30 am (June 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th & July 6th) in the library.  July 13th will be our grand finale picnic held at the Max City Park right next to the library at 11:30. We will serve a free lunch at 11:30 to all participants.

Weekly tokens will be given to those who choose to participate in the book report program. The grand prizes will be given out at the picnic in the park.  To qualify for the grand prizes, each student will receive a token for each time they participate in the reading and the program.  Once they get four tokens, they will be qualified for the awesome grand prizes.
