Library Status

Max Community Library will be closed to the public for now. Please feel free to call the library at 679-2263 to request books.I will do my best to get some together for you. There are plenty of online resources available for you to utilize. We have Overdrive available for audio and eBooks. Also, rbdigital from the State Library that includes audio books, eBooks, and Magazines. These can be used from your devices after getting the free app from your app store. Or you can follow the links on the sidebar. You will need your Library card number to use these online library resources.

Book Club Night Rescheduled

Come join us at the Max Community Library for book club night Friday April 24th  at 7 pm. There will be a discussion on the book The Road by Cormac McCarty. Copies are available upon request from the library.

Pre- School Story Time

Preschool Story Time  :

Story Time will be held at 10:30-11:00 on the second Monday and Thursday of the month, except November. The programming will be the same for both days.  The date will be chosen around school holidays or any other community event to better fit the needs of the community. If you have any questions about story time dates, please call the library at 679-2263.

Free State Park Passes Available Through Your Library
The North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department and North Dakota State Library have expanded their State Park Pass Library Loan Program. Through this program, library patrons can check out a pass providing entrance to any North Dakota state park, effectively waiving the $5 daily pass fee. The lending period for each pass is 7 days, with a limit of 1 pass per household.
